Bempton Cliffs RSPB

I had a great day out at Bempton Cliffs on the north-east coast of Yorkshire today with Leigh Ornithological Society. The weather stayed fine if a little dull, but it was quite cold and windy. I'm just sorting out the photos and writing the text for a longer report, so come back soon.  Here's a taster for now:

Courting Gannets

Puffin on ledge

Fulmar in nest hole

Razorbills - The Men in Black!

Herring Gull

Guillemot - love that chocolate colour!

Kittiwake

Noisy Kittiwake Group

A Jackdaw waiting for picnic leftovers

A Tree Sparrow in the Car park
