In the two and a half years I've been writing this blog I've had very few comments written by the many people (according to my page hit counters) who have visited the site.

It would be really nice if you would leave a comment under any of the posts here - you don't need to log in or have an account, just click on the No Comments line at the very bottom of any post, write some text in the box which pops up and choose the identity Anonymous before clicking the Publish button - you can include your real name in the text if you like.

Doffcocker Lodge Video

I'm still experimenting with taking video on my DSLR and then editing them in iMovie on my iMac. Here's the latest video I've produced from short clips taken at Doffcocker Lodge, plus a few stills in between.  I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the original, although it is somewhat diminished by compressing it for YouTube.

The birds in the video have all been featured in a previous post here and include Common Terns, Great Crested Grebes, Coots and a 'sailpast' by some Canada Geese.
